Technical Writer – Grand Rapids, Michigan. Aptude, Inc. has a client with a technical writer position available. This is a one month contract position. Candidates will need MS Office skills. Proposal Writer – Northern Michigan. The Professional Recruiting Division of Manpower has permanent full-time proposal writer position available at a major defense contractor in northern lower Michigan. They are looking for someone with significant experience preparing proposals to federal government agencies (DoD is preferred). Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR is needed. This person would work with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Quality personnel and outside partners to develop proposals and tailored marketing materials and presentations. This person must demonstrate knowledge and experience in the Department of Defense material development process and preparation of proposals for equipment or services to the Department of Defense and other industries. This position is in the Northern Michigan area (not the U.P.) and with a very strong, well established company. Summer School is a series of professional and business development classes on a variety of topics. Each class is presented by fellow Chamber members in their area of expertise. Summer School is only available to Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Chamber members at a cost of $20 per class.
