Note: Effective September 1, 1998, the West Michigan Shores Chapter will invoice individuals who make dinner reservations for meetings but do not attend. In most cases, restaurants that host our functions will charge the West Michigan Shores Chapter for all unclaimed meals. As a result, it has become commonplace for the Chapter to actually lose money for several meetings per year.

To avoid receiving an invoice, please cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance. Of course, we will not charge you in the event of a genuine emergency, provided you make us aware your situation as soon as it's reasonably possible to do so. We understand that our members are busy professionals, and that "things come up" unexpectedly. However, please understand that this rarely prevents restaurant owners from holding the Chapter financially accountable for last-minute cancellations.
