Job Title	Technical Writer
Location	Kalamazoo, MI

Education and/or Special Training	Membership in technical publications professional society strongly desired. Working knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
Job Description	Responsible for composing the technical documents necessary for the manufacturing, engineering, and product development. Writes procedure manuals, service manuals, and operation manuals in clear and concise language. Reviews previously communicated materials that may require revisions in order to meet the changing product specifications. Develops and maintains compliance with all regulatory and compliance activities within the team to include, but not limited to: Federal Drug Administration, Good Manufacturing Practice’s, ISO standards, safety and OSHA regulations, affirmative action guidelines, and equal employment practices. Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications. Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned on time and under budget.
Qualifications/Work Experience	Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, technical writing, journalism, or a related discipline. Two to four (2-4) years of experience within the technical writing field.

Technical Writer. Arrow Strategies LLC is seeking a contract technical writer for a client in Kalamazoo. Job involves taking specs and putting into workable format. It will entail extracting useful knowledge articles used by Service Desk, and various IT areas, and compiling into workable format. Will interact with Service Desk teams to glean viable knowledge to their job duties.

Ideal candidate will need to have strong MS Office, Visio, and strong ITIL experience. MUST type 60 words per minute. Must be self sufficient enough to work independently or within a team.

Manager would like to start this project as soon as possible. Strong writers required with technical knowledge and or experience. Must have excellent writing skills, spelling, grammar and communication skills. Cell Phone is required. There may be travel to other locations for training or meetings, but all will be on the Pfizer Shuttle (bus or plane).

This position is not a high-level technical writing position - it will consist of writing SOP's. We need people who are technically savvy, possess good writing skills, can take direction and ask questions.

Technical Writer. Our client in Cadillac, Michigan is looking for a Technical Writer for its Engineering Department. This is a three month contract position with a direct hire opportunity and the pay will be $38,000-$48,000.

The candidate will write and edit technical reports, brochures, catalogs and manuals for internal documentation as well as external publications in Microsoft Word. The second responsibility of this position is to do the graphic designing of the publications with Photoshop or another digital photo software.

At least two years of experience doing technical writing is needed and a Bachelors degree in engineering for a related technical field. Graphic design background is also required.
